In week 10 green_screen’s homework, i need to remove the character’s green background and get as much information and details as i can to match the background.
To do that, i firstly use keylight node to remove green background, in changed the value of screen grain and screen balance in keylight so that i can clearly see my character and black background with no white points.

After that, i use Erode and Edgeblur to soften the character’s edge and premult afterward. But after i premult, i have lost some of the hair from the character. To get hairs back, i have used different merge nodes which are divide, multiply and over. As the image shows, it looks much better than before.

To make the scene color looks good and match to each other, i use Grade and Saturation node to change my character’s and background’s color.
