In Week three Maya Class, i have learned UV Mapping, and it’s very important for model texturing. UV is what i am not good at in Maya. In the lecture, i followed Mr Nick’s steps to create a bread and bread sliced. I have downloaded the six different type of texture images on the website and put them on my bread see how’s that going. But during the lecture, i got some issues in Maya texture system and the value to control these textures. I’m still struggling in controlling the value for normal map and displacement map. Also, i still not quite understand how to let line match to each other after cut a bread into bread slide, So i will ask Mr Nick when i come to the class next Monday.
