The inspiration for this project comes from the video that Mr. Chrostos shows in the last meeting. And the collaborative project which I did with students in different courses from semester one. My job is to track this shooting footage and combine it with the CG model. I feel very interesting and challenged. To rich and improve my green-screen and shooting skills, I want to do another story but with familiar techies.

The character suddenly opened his eyes, got up and looked around (he is very confused), he found that there were many clothes in front of him. After that, he saw a table in front of him, and a cube was suspended on the table. He walked up slowly and touched the cube. After touching the cube, it landed on the table and quickly emitted a strong light. The character floated in the air slowly and his soul out of his body. Finally, his body disappeared and his clothes fell to the ground. After an interval of one or two seconds, the character suddenly opened his eyes as the second frame shows.

For each scene, I have written actor action and camera movements details, as the following show:

• Scenario 1: The actor lay on the ground and woke up suddenly, opening his eyes widely. [【Camera located on the character first, and then zoom in on the character’s face】
• Scenario 2: The actor looks around and he feels the place is empty and unfamiliar. 【The camera uses a wide-angle shot and rotates around the character】
• Scenario 3: The actor’s perspective settled on a few piles of clothes in front of him. (he feels confused) And in front of him, there is a table with a rotating cube on it. 【The camera sets on the character’s shoulder, and zoom in slowly.】
• Scenario 4: The actor walked past the pile of clothes and came to the cube. The cube has a glow from silver to yellow. 【The camera uses a low angle to shoot the character’s shoes and after he walks through these clothes, the camera switch to the character’s view.】
• Scenario 5: The actor’s subconscious instructions made him want to spray the cube, and at the moment of touching it, the cube didn’t move and emitted a strong light. 【The camera uses the cube’s view to look up the character, and light up after 2-3 sec】
• Scenario 6: The actor was lifted up by an unknown force, and his body instantly turned into powder and disappeared, leaving behind a pile of clothes. Everything is back to normal after that. 【Use a tripod for shooting and use a low angle】

To get prepared before starting shooting, I have watched some tutorials about greenscreen and how to use a green screen to shoot fly characters outside.

For the next step, I will make a list of all equiements I need to borrow and calculate the time for each scene.
